As I am sure most of you can relate to my “To Be Read” list is about a mile long! There are several series that I have really been wanting to get to that will have new releases in them this year so I am going to try and kick off quite a few of them before the releases! I try not to set a strict list of what I “need” to read as it takes a lot of the fun out of it for me. Wish me luck!
Without further ado, the below is my 2019 TBR list of books already released:
- Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson
- Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo (#2 Six of Crows Duology)
- The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty (#1 The Daevebad Trilogy)
- Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare (#3 The Dark Artifices)
- Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian
- A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy #1) Deborah Harkness
- Mirage by Somalia Daud
- Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes (#1 Falling Kingdoms)
- Red Rising by Pierce Brown (#1 Red Rising Series)
- Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
- Truthwitch by Susan Denard (Witchlands #1)
- Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (#1 Legacy of Orisha)
- Furyborn by Claire Legrand (#1 The Empirium Trilogy)
- Great Library by Rachel Caine
- Renegades by Marissa Meyer
- The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
- A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
- The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
- Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
- Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
- ROAR by Cora Carmack (#1 Stormheart)
- Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd
- The Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L. Wilson (#1 The Tairen Soul)
I really like to wait until a series is complete and then binge read it. I know it is a little terrible but I love to be able to get the whole story without having to wait to know what happens next or deal with cliff hangers… this also generally allows for me to get part of the series at a lower price since they have been out for a while. So you will see a trend in my collection of hardbacks and special editions of later books in a series and paperbacks for the first few books.
I am trying out a free month of Scribed to get in some audiobooks during my car time this month! So hopefully I can get through quite a few of these quickly so I can give you book reviews as well as a review of the service next month!
