OwlCrate World Of Caraval Special Edition Unboxing

Just a Final ๐Ÿ™‚ Warning- LOTS of spoilers below

Overall Rating: ****

Value: ****

Uniqueness:****

I am so so so excited for the release of Finale!!!!ย I want to set aside all of the other books in my TBR list to start reading right away! These books always leave me needing to know what happens next! I am forcing myself to finish off the two books I am currently reading before I can dive in…. so probably will be my weekend treat!!!

Now without further ado! The unboxing of the World of Caraval Special Edition box from OwlCrate.

What was all included in the box:

  • LeeLoo’s Bath Steamer-I could smell this thing outside of the box and it was wonderful!!
  • Enamel Pin by Alchemy and Ink. There were actually three different version of this pin inspired by the book covers that you could have received.
  • Book Tin from Stella Bookish Art that features quotes from all three books.
  • Citrus and Sea Salt Scented Candle by Rose and Adder
  • Throw Pillow Case designed by Catarina Book Designs
  • Tote Bag designed by Evie Bookish
  • Art Prints depicting scenes fro Caraval and Finale
  • Deck of Playing Cardsย inspired by the Deck of Destiny… this might be my favorite item in the box, after the book of course.
  • Finale with Exclusive OwlCrate Alternate cover!!! I love this alternate cover so much, especially since I am not a purple fan!!

I believe there are still some unsigned books or boxes with unsigned books available on OwlCrate’s website.

I did give this box 4 starts instead of 5 as I didn’t feel the items really warranted the higher cost, I might be spoiled with how many items are usually in the monthly OwlCrate boxes, but I didn’t feel I received a whole lot of extra. Also aside from the cover art the book doesn’t have any exclusive content so I will still need to purchase a Barnes & Noble Exclusive version of the book if I want the extra chapter from Legends perspective. I don’t enjoy having multiple copies of the same book, so I will wait and see how much I love the book before deciding if I really really need the extra content.

How do you feel about the series??? Let me know in the comments below, and of course Spoiler warnings please!!!

January Owl Crate Unboxing and Review

Overall rating: *****

By now I am sure you have seen I have developed a serious love for Owlcrate. In my opinion it is hands down the best U.S. based crate and value for the money. I actually committed to a subscription… which I have never done for any box ever!! I was quite positive about the book that was going to be in the box so I could not wait to get it, and took a gamble on not pre-ordering the book on my own to have release day.

Owlcrate January unboxing

The theme for January was Magical Artifacts. What came in the box:

  • The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi – Exclusive Owlcrate edition. Guys I really did not think this book could get any more gorgeous but they did it somehow! This also came with author letter and a cute Gilded Wolves themes luggage tag
  • Gilded Wolves themed pin of the month by Alchemy and Ink
  • A Darker Shade of Magic inspired bag by Stella Bookish Art
  • Sting Sword letter opener by Juniper & Ivy Designs
  • The Gold Compass inspired tapestry by Holly Dunn Design

Fairyloot December Unboxing

Over the past several months I have been on a bit of a book box bender. It all started when my little brother ordered me a FairyLoot box for my birthday in August. I have to say FairyLoot is one box that I have been consistently impressed with so I wanted to share my December โ€œDragonsโ€ unboxing with you guys.

Fairyloot Dragons Book Box

Included in this box:

  1. Reading Journal by Fictiontea Designs
  2. Pin Flag
  3. Glow in the Dark Dragon Necklace
  4. Harry Potter themed Book Sleeve by Sweet Sequels – I am completely obsessed with this item and everything by this artist!
  5. An Advanced Reading Copy of Storm Crows by Kalyn Josephson- this book doesn’t release until July 2019!!!
  6. Doubled sided art print with Manon and Abraxos on one side and Toothless on the other.
  7. For the SECOND book, a signed copy of Fire and Heist by Sarah Beth Durst with author letter
  8. Mother of Dragons Magnetic Books Marks- This item was actually missing from this monthโ€™s box due to a packing issue. The Fairy Loot team sent out emails right away advising of the issue and that they would be getting that item out to us as soon as possible. They communicated the issue and solution promptly and I have no concerns over it.

Fairlyoot Dragons Book Box Unboxing

The one downside to this box for me being in Texas is the shipping. Since the company is based in the U.K. the international shipping is about $20, which makes the total cost of the box right around $50. Due to that cost I only order the box every other month or so, but even with that little extra cost I feel it is well work the money. I have ordered several other domestic boxes that with shipping landed right around $40 but the quality for the price was not even close to that of FairyLoot.ย  You can also skip months with your subscription so you are not locked into spending that money each month either way.

Their January theme is Unbreakable Bonds and is still available atย Fairyloot.com
